Addie lived at 552 Swan Street in Buffalo, NY in 1900. The 1900 federal census for New York states that she was the mother of two children, only one (Charles Newton Weston) was alive at the time of the census.)

The following death notice appeared in the Thursday Aug. 31, 1922 Phillipsburg (KS) News.

It grieves us to report the death of Mrs. C.H. Weston, who passed away yesterday morning after an illness of several months. Deceased was born in Buffalo, New York, 47 years ago, and for several years this city has been her hom. She leaves a husband and one son to mourn her loss. Awaiting arrival of relatives, the funeral will not be held until Friday.

MRS CHAS. WESTON

Addie L. Newton, daughter of Isaac and Caroline Newton was born Sept. 21, 1875, at Buffalo, NY, departed this life from Phillipsburg, Kans. Aug. 30, 1922, aged 46, 11 months and 9 days.

On November 21st, 1894 she was united in marriage to Chas. H. Weston at Buffalo, N.Y. About fourteen years ago they moved to Kansas, and have lived in Phillipsburg and vicinity since that time.

On April 23, 1905 she became a member of the Walden Avenue Presbyterian church of Buffalo, NY by profession of her faith in Christ. After they removed to Kansas she became identified with the Presbyterian church of Phillipsburg, and was a member till the time of translation.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one son Chas. N. Weston of Phillipsburg,, one sister Mrs. H.L. Hicks of Adamsville, Pa. together with many friends in Phillipsburg and vicinity who will revere her memory and feel the loss of a faithful friend and kind neighbor.

She was in poor health for many months, and in recent days a great sufferer, yet through it all she was patient, hopeful and trustful, and at last like a weary child went to rest committing her all to the care of her trusted Heavenly Father, never failing friend and faithful Savior.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon. The Rebekkas conducted a service at the house. The funeral services were held in the M.E. church conducted by her pastor L.A. Kerr of the Presbyterian church. The services at the grave were in charge of the Eastern Star.
