Wonderin´ about the name? Well, it´s
a creation of Ralph S. AKA "The Old Rocker" from Greek
(WebSite). I had the pleasure
to meet him at alt.binaries.sounds.midi, we both love MIDIs, we both
got mail from Heavenly Music (insider joke) - and so we get "Brothers in
Arms" :) We talked about this and that by email and i told him that my kidds
are also "MIDI adicted" - so he called me the "MIDI Papa" ,-)
What´s the reason for this page? Well, not what you´re expecting. You´ll not find tones of MIDIs here - there are enough other web and ftp sites around where you can download them. A link to a Links Page you´ll find to the left. The main reason for this page is to give the users from a.b.s.m some assistance. Most are having problems to decode MIDIs and to play and/or to save them to their disks. Others are having lots of nice MIDIs but don´t know how to post them to a.b.s.m. So there´s a FAQ trying to answer all the questions. On the other side there will be some assistance for users posting frequently to a.b.s.m - they will find a list of commercial, copyrighted MIDIs floating around to prevent them from getting mail by Heavenly Music & Co :) And at last i'll try to show up some usefull tools for decoding, managing, downloading, playing and posting MIDIs. |
