Steve Day´s MIDI Files ...
Steve Day is a very talented guitar player and prolific midi sequencer. Steve has given us tons of great hits from the 60's and 70's. His MIDIs are posted nearly every day in a.b.s.m. - but there was no website to download his great MIDIs from - Until now!! Since i think it's better to let Steve work on his MIDIs instead of wasting that talent with this ugly HTML stuff :) i decided to put his MIDIs on this page so everyone can download and enjoy them.
You may be surprised to learn that he creates these wonderful MIDIs through the use of his mouse! Steve records his guitar parts to a .WAV file then uses this to listen to as he painstakingly enters notation note-by-note using his mouse!! This not only requires an extensive understanding of music composition and patience, but also very keen ears!
Have fun with the results ,-)
Some notes:
- Left-click on the
icon to play the MIDI.
- Right-click on the
icon and choose Save as... from the menue to save the MIDI to your harddisk.
- MIDIs with the
icon are ZIP archives which you have to download to your computer where you can unpack them. If you have no WinZip installed click here to download it.
And - pleaze! - don´t forget to send Steve a mail and tell him what do you think about his work!
