WRAR202.EXE
RARSHLEX.ZIP
Some of my archives are packed with WinRAR - download this to unpack them. It has some better pack rates than ZIP and an easy to handle user interface. RARSHLEX is a Shell Extension for WinRAR - it allows Drag ´n Drop and some other enhancements for the context menues of Windows 95.
SPDECEXT.EXE This little handy tool for Windows 95 installs as a Shell Extension and allows you to decode mails or postings you´ve "Saved as..." .TXT files via right click on the file. It supports both UUEncode and MIME/base64. The decoded MIDI is placed in the current directory with the filename given in the mail or posting.
WINCODE.ZIP If your email client doesn't support decoding of attachments or if the method of encoding (like BinHex) isn't known by your email client, this is what you need. You'll have to "Save as..." the attachment and run WinCode over it - voilla, there's the MIDI! ,-)
MKEYS110.ZIP This is a device driver for Windows 95 - after installing this you may use your computer´s keyboard as a MIDI-IN device. Didn´t try this as i don´t sequence - so don´t beat me if it doesn´t work ,-)
MIDI Tool Box Alex van den Berge (Open Mind Productions) wrote a little amazing thing named 'The MIDI Tool Box' - it has such a load of usefull functions that the space won´t fit here to describe them all - just go there and be surprised; ,-) An alternate link to another site is here...
MIDI Spy This little tool also allows you to look into MIDI files and to see if they are from commercial companies like Trycho, Tune 100, Hands On and the else. It's written by Mick O'Neill, who is a great sequencer too - his MIDIs can be found here...
MLM&MLJ.ZIP This is a great little tool by Thomas Schultz to create lists of MIDI files stored in any directories. It has an update function which automatically adds new MIDIs to the list.
MDLPBK24.ZIP Do you know this "The MIDI port is allready in use by another application" error message? Can´t see it anymore? Here´s a little device driver which acts as a MIDI LoopBack and allows input/output from/to up to four MIDI INs and ten MIDI OUTs - Freeware!
MIDIGLASS.ZIP This one is a very nice tool, done by Yann Baruch, to perform several tasks on MIDI files. It not only allows you to get a wide range of infos for MIDI files, it also allows you to do changes and corrections. If you wanna have a peek at the documentation first, click here. For more infos and contacting the author click here. Note: Be patient - connecting to the site may take a few seconds!

AOLD_102.ZIP This is a 32bit tool (AOLDecode) for Windows 95 i wrote. It should assist AOL Users in decoding large attachments or MIME/base64 attachments they otherwise can´t decode with this scrappy AOL news client. For details click here.
