This is so great!!! For all you do-it-youselfers that have a Garmin 12, 12xl, 38, 40, 45, 48, 89, 90, 92, GPS II, II+, III, III+ or Street Pilot, here's a site where you can buy the connector and make your own wiring to you Computer.

I was 100% satisfied!
It takes a bit of skill to solder the connector but it saves a bundle, especially for Mac folks! All the online guidance is on Larry's site. Tell him I said hi!

Morse Font (8 K) is a Freeware font that converts letters and numbers into Morse dots and dashes. A self extracting archive
Morse Mania 1.7.0 192k is a shareware program that acts as a tutor by playing Morse code on your Mac. It's by Edward Plumer.
187K MacGPS 0.5 b2 beta is a power packed Garmin 45 program by Larry James. you can upload and download way points, routes, track logs and satellite almanac data. The author would like you to trade up to his PRO version, but this fully functional beta version is Freeware! A self extracting archive

55K Regatta 1.0 by John Whiting is a shareware program that uses HyperCard to time, score and handicap sailboat races. It's $20.00 if you use it, payable to John. A self extracting archive.
GPSy 3.37 (Binhex 2.0MB) is another Mac GPS nav program. There are several versions available, including a Pro version that allows opening Maptech digital charts.Jeff Roy emailed that he liked GPSy over MacGPS because it runs on slower machines and has a cleaner interface. (even though) MacGPS has more features.

MacSEA is another popular Mac program for use with the GPS. The software is compatable with Livechart, Navionics, Mapmedia and Maptech digital charts.
