The Milescross Whippets are the result of a well thought out small breeding program. Due to the constraints of city living, as well as a concern that every puppy I bring into this world should be able to be taken back into my home if life necessitates it, I have kept the amount of puppies produced here extremely limited over the years.

In order to have been able to carry on any breeding program at all, I have many people to thank for co-owning, co-breeding and caring for Milescross whippets over the years. Dan & Leslie Silva were incredibly generous with their time, knowledge and friendship for a golden period in the 1990's; a time that I will always fondly remember. Wendy & Rodney Gay have always been very supportive right from the beginning of our association in the early nineties, and they have always unselfishly shared the fruits of their breeding program with me. Plus, their farm in Woodland was truly puppy heaven on earth! My Mom has been a huge help with everything; from travelling thousands of miles to events, to whelping puppies (and never freaking out), and being "the best" puppy picker of all. Of course, every puppy buyer, past and present, who have given wonderful homes to some pretty great whippets, is to be thanked for their love; raising and caring for the lion's share of the Milescross, Milescross-Elandan and Milescross-Grand Prix whippets.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit with my whippets and their relations, past and present. They have given me a lot of great memories and I would not trade a minute of them (except for Bentley's accident) for the world. Best of all, the whippets have allowed me to meet some wonderful folks. Whippets certainly hang with the best people!

Special thanks to Miles Kurland of Kurland Digital for the original web design and concept for this site, and for giving a great home to Strider and Brandy from the "Silver Screen Litter". More thanks to Rob Vollmar for the updated design and all his hard work on the new site.
