Bury me in the leaves
Lay me down on my back on the cold ground
and let me inhale the earthy crunch
of the reds, oranges, golds and browns
Sprinkle handfuls on my face and blot out the bright sky
Hide me from the world

Dig the hole deep and lay me down
and let me feel the pressure
of the hot scorching crystals
Smooth the surface and close my eyes
