I first entered cyberspace on AOL on January 1, 1995. ( I know, AOL has a bad rep out here on the 'net, but it's really not so bad from the inside). I made a lot of close friends there, from all over the country. I stumbled around with no direction, until one day, I created my cyber-ego, MindFire. Watch this space for the the story of the Sensual Intelligence Room and how cyberspace defined itself to us. It was a magical time of make believe and reality, in the proper doses. Sadly, most of the players are gone from AOL now, driven the the 'net by AOL's excessive hourly rate and the pressures of real space.

I shall always fondly remember my cyber-sisters TantraFire/SweetJewel/HeartBlaze/Bound4XTC and Eucalgor, who helped make that room what it once was. And HeliOx/FireThief/HeartBound, who stole my fire. And of course, HeroProtag will always have a special place in my heart, and the Orb will always have a special place in my special place :::grin:::. LordGByron, the rakehell poet set the stage with the appropriate poem for any occasion, and Cyhim could always be counted on to help me show the newbies how it is done. MrMurbles was always there, with the Pez ready. MrHugs2U joined us there, when he sent me his GIF and I saw his eyes, I knew he would have to come along to our new room.

When Sensual Intelligence got too popular, and we could no longer get into the room because it was always full, along came the muse, Phaenna to our rescue. She created Sirens Beach, where we made new friends. Oracle17, and Sira, and MystrLady came along to become part of the sisters. And soon we had a regular group of friends meeting on the beach. Aramis56, and DanGetz joined us, and SlashKaBob showed up to entertain us with his wit. PhlGramm lurked for awhile and then lost his shyness and jumped in with both feet soon enough.

Soon, even Sirens Beach filled up and we moved on to Sylvan Glade. It was a cool forest glade where we could get away from the hectic pace of the rest of cyberspace.
