Allan's Wood Miser's Guide

to the WWW

Our Mission:...
The WWW "haystack" is growing hourly by the 1000's and trying to find one's "needles" of interest is becoming more challenging and frustrating with every passing minute. Therefore, Allan's Wood Miser's Workshop's policy is to get serious about dedicating the time and energy necessary to search out and document relevant links in order to help make your woodworking web surfing experience less frustrating, more informative, and most of all,... much more enjoyable!

Plans & Projects
Lots of folks come by AWM Workshop looking for free plans, and with that in mind I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "There's no such thing as a free lunch"......  O'contraire mon-rare! There are quite a few sites offering some freebies out there, but keep in mind these folks put a lot of work into these plans and for the sake of the community as a whole it wouldn't hurt to fork over a few sawbucks every now and then.

Some of the sites below contain indexes of hundreds more links to plans, so if you can't find what you're looking for... maybe you better look for a new hobby!

Instead of procuring large numbers of weapons, hiring twenty or thirty thousand foot soldiers, and conquering a couple of continents...all YOU have to do is scroll down, point and click!
