MIXSOFT--Mixture Experiment Software,
Short Courses, and Consulting
- SOFTWARE: MIXSOFT is a software package for
the statistical design and analysis of mixture experiments and other
experiments with constrained experimental regions. MIXSOFT 2.4.1 can solve larger problems (e.g., more
mixture and/or process variables, and more constraints defining
constrained experimental regions) on PCs.
- SHORT COURSES: Courses ranging from 1 to 4 days in length
covering statistical experimental design, data analysis, and
optimization/formulation methods for mixture experiments are available.
- CONSULTING SERVICES: Consulting for the statistical design and
analysis of mixture experiments and other types of experiments,
specializing in constrained region.
Mixture experiments involve blending two or
more mixture components in various proportions, and then measuring one or more
properties/characteristics of the resulting mixtures. Many products such as
glass, plastics, paints, alloys, foods, and drugs can be formulated using
mixture experiment designs and data analysis methods.
Product formulations can be developed or optimized more efficiently with better
results using mixture experiment methods.
