PURPLE       RODS

This kaleidoscope is also a V-shaped kaleidoscope, but with mirror on all three sides.  The body of the scope is iridized purple glass, with clear rods down the top seam and along the front for legs. The rods has twisted copperfoil that has been soldered with decorative dots on each twist.  The wheels are 4" in diameter, and contain over 20 pieces of different glasses, jewels and dichroic glasses.  They have nickel plated chain soldered to them, and are balanced to spin evenly.

This kaleidoscope has a 22 point mandala - meaning there are  22  pie-shaped slices of the wheel image reflected in the mirrors.  The scope is 8" long, 2/5" high, 1" width..
