KEY LIME
This box changes color according to the light that shines upon it. That is the beauty of stained glass, it's always changing colors during a day depending upon it's sunlight. This 4" x 4" x 2" Box is made with a pale green glass that I call Key Lime. It has an overlay of iridized Spectrum Cord glass that picks up the highlights of the light green. It has a dichroic strip of fused glass running it's length that again repeats iridized colors. Ball chain is used for ornamentation across the front of the box, although the dichroic strip extends out to act as a clasp. The ball chain is repeated in the back of the box, just as added texture for the shape of the box. PRICE $25 This box can be made with any type of glass, but opalescent glass (dense) seems to work best. The iridized glass and dichroic strip can pick up the colors of any of the glasses.
