Another new version of our UberNES emulator has been released. Too many improvements are included in this version to list here.

4-3-04
An updated version of our UberNES emulator has been posted. The main improvements are in the areas of sound emulation and mapper support.

3-25-04
A new project has been added to the Projects page. The new project is a NES emulator called UberNes, and is a much-enhanced version of our old mknes emulator.

2-28-04
Some minor updates to various pages have been made. Also, be sure to check out our new company branch, located in Washington, D.C. And stop back soon - a new project should be added within the month.

1-12-03
A new project has been added to the projects page. It is a NES emulator for windows called mknes that will eventually feature some novel ideas not in any NES emulators yet.

11-26-02
More changes to the website: we have removed many pages and added a projects page, which will feature the latest and (hopefully) greatest from us. Click here to visit the Projects page. More coming soon.

08-09-01
We have updated our BSP engine to version 0.1. Check out this page for info, screen shots, and a download link.

07-14-01
If our site was unviewable in Netscape before, it may be fixed now. (Thanks to David Rothschild.)

07-12-01
Some changes have been made to the top and bottom of each page, since they did not format properly with AOL and possibly other browsers/resolutions. An update to our BSP engine might be coming soon, as well.

06-28-01
The download section has been updated with an extensive set of Binary Space Partitioning (BSP) tree programs. In case you are not familiar with these trees, they make more complex "3D" environments possible. These programs are definitely worth a download.

06-20-01
Here is (was) a new demo. Much more coming very soon.

01-31-01
Two consecutive days with an update - wow. We updated our Encoder/Decoder. It is more efficient now and also displays a ton of stats while encoding or decoding. It is definitely a lot better than the first version. We also made some more cosmetic changes to the site, including changing the font.

01-30-01
Some minor cosmetic changes have been made to the site. You might also notice a link to a QB Board in the navigation part of the site. Apparently we are a member of some kind of Dev Forum now. It should be exciting.

01-07-01
Another new program is at the downloads section. This time it is a Huffman compression/decompression program that works fairly well.

11-27-00
If you've been waiting for a QBasic Heap Sort, today is your lucky day. Check it out at the downloads section.

10-26-00
We added a program that evaluate simple math expressions, namely expressions using +,-,*, and \. Sounds simple, but you might just be surprised at what you find. Check it out at the download section.

Here is bigger news: we will be putting up a mirror at www.mkwebsite.com this weekend probably.

10-13-00
Some links have been added and some other fixes here and there have been put in place. Also, a new program has been uploaded that will generate a file listing which might be useful.

10-05-00
Two new graphics demos have been added. One is a "Serpinski's Triangle" program and the other is a Colt 45 bitmap exploder with some tricks. More on the way.

9-26-00
The website has been updated to look a lot cleaner and more organized. We redesigned it because there are still a lot of people coming here and the old version was pretty ugly. With the new design, you might notice some changes. First of all, the guestbook has been eliminated. It was way too big and there were too many idiots posting. Second, the QBasic poll is gone, in a way. You can still view the results and the recaps but thats all. Lastly, we "toned down" a lot of the text on the site. We will hopefully post some new stuff soon. We wrote a hugely inefficent but very physically accurate bitmap exploder that uses all kinds of floating point values. It's nothing great, but we'll post it anyways.

11-24-99
Almost two years to the day from our last update, we've finally changed something on our site. However, it's only a minor fix in the download libraries. Hopefully, all the links will work now. If not, email us and let us know.

Unfortunately, this is the only update. Some of you may wonder what happened with us, and the only explanation I can give is that we ran out of steam. We made the decision to allow the site to stay online so people can use it as a resource for QBasic rather than kill it and disappear completely. We're sorry about the total lack of updates.

11-29-97
We've added a ton of new programs. The first is a realtime 3D Bouncing program that can produce some amazing results. The other new thing is a collection of very good polygon tools/demos. The ZIP file contains code on how to do all kinds of polygon stuff. Both of these programs, which take only seconds to download, are available at the Download Library.

We also improved the look of the navigational frame, due to a few people complaining that it was too ugly. We decided they were right, and hopefully it's better now.

11-26-97
We've revamped the links section quite a bit. Now, each link (except the GeoCities ones, because the server was down) is categorized and has some brief comments.

Also, in the future, we will be shifting the focus of our file libraries to programs made exclusively by us. The reason being that anyone with a website can rip code from the ABC packets or other web pages, but we are the only people who can exclusively feature M \ K programs. That way, at least you will know when you come here that you won't see the same old recycled programs that compose the file libaries of 75% of all QBasic web sites.

11-19-97
Welcome to the breaking news section. This page will be updated more than any other, so you might want to check back periodically.

We've finally got the no-frames to frames conversion process completed. You should find the new format to be easier to use and more aesthetic. Look for more changes in the future.

The QBasic Poll is, in a way, back in action. Go check it out.
