MLGC Current Events

This is an area to find out about current issues of the MLGC. Here we can debate various issues such as ammendments to the Constitution, new members, new sports, and the election of a new Executor. Please bear in mind that any votes that are collected are for polling purposes only - they do not qualify as official MLGC policy. From this page, you can also bring up any issue you may have, by using the text box at the bottom of the page. Your remarks will get posted to the Comments page.

To League or Not to League

Well, we've now had 16 Stanley Cans, and we are really seeing some of the long term changes that have come upon the MLGC. We will all most likely never be located within minutes of each other again, and this is making MLGC cohesion more difficult. Specifically we are seeing a dichotomy in the amount of croquet being played in the different areas that we live in. Is the solution to form separate leagues? Perhaps a regimented schedule of croquet games that must be played? Let us hear your opinion!
