This is the latest version of the M3 with the hex-shaped anti roll bezel & pyrex lens.
The new bezel is thicker and stronger than the older version.  A lanyard is also included.

The M3 is a great size 3 cell (123) tactical flashlight.  The M3 comes standard with both the
MN10 125 lumen lamp assembly & the MN11 225 lumen lamp assembly.
The M3 is very bright with its 225 lumen MN11 lamp assembly.
 

The FM17 Beam cover clamps securely to the bezel and protects the lens from scratches & damage.
Whenever you need light just flip it up!
 
 

Even though the M3 isn't much shorter than the M6 it's much lighter, thinner and easier to carry.

SureFire M3T

The M3 turbohead is a larger bezel, you just replace the existing bezel with the larger turbo bezel and you
now have an M3T.  The M3T has a larger reflector area, so the beam is much more concentrated.
This gives the light more "throw", allowing the beam to travel much farther.
 
 

The M3/M3T is very good size (and good looking) flashlight.
 
 

This Turbohead has the higher heat resistant Pyrex lens.  The only bad thing is the M3T requires
different lamp assemblies (N2 105 lumens, MN15 125 lumens & MN16 225 lumens) than the M3.
