Other Models and Modelers

 There have been two organized meeting of Hovercraft modelers in the UK organized by Brian Russell of the Hovercraft Society. The meetings were held in Gosport, Hampshire, UK. And were attended by a number of keen hovercraft modelers. There were talks and demonstrations of various craft and the hovercraft were run at one of the hovercraft museums storage sites at Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. As you can see these were run in front of the museums full size SRN 4.

Pete's design is the flat plate and trash bag design…..a  hairdryer provides the lift….hope the heats off Pete!

Jons Gas powered craft lifts off….Use a 0.061 Norvel engine for lift and thrust just like my Hover Hopper
