January 21st....
Nearly 3 months since I last blogged.
Much has happened, I'm on my 3rd cook now at work...
Dear daughter has mended from a broken heart...
3 sons are doing fine...
Grandchildren are growing (much too fast) and thriving...
Too much time has slipped by to go into detail .. the Holiday's were nice but went by far too quickly.
Once the dust settled I was left wanting only to do it all over again.
Shabby Chic designs has caught my attention and hybrid scrapping, as well.
I received one of Rachel Ashwell's books for Christmas, I LOVE that kind of designing.
Tonight I made this heart pocket, included in the zip is one of each, with and without the heart notes.
Another one of my gifts from all of my children was a Bamboo Graphic Tablet, I was quite touched by
such a gift beings they think I'm on the computer too much as is, so it meant a lot to me.
Anyway, I doodled a bit on the heart notes.
A Tablet makes a ton of difference when trying to do such things.

Odds 'n Ends...
Made from a few personal items that I have, the hair is my grand daughters', the bow used to tie together
the hair curls was a part of my daughter's Unity Candle that I made, the beads- from my own crystal beads,
and the gown was made by my best friend, Joy.
I'd like to also thank Netta of ...Ephemeral Victorian...
She has a new Freebie Site up and running specifically for Designers... I love that site.
I made the brown Bow from one of the items I received from there.

October 21st....
My first try at a ribbon wrapped frame. Sometimes I wish I could just get my fingers in there
and touch what I'm doing so I can get it to go the way that I want!...lol ...Yaknow???
Ah but then .... that's all a part of the challenge now, isn't it.
Btw... thank you so much to all of you who have welcomed me back and left such nice comments.
I'm happy to be back. :)

October 19th....
So much has happened while I've been away from "Blogging"....
Stress, turmoil and heartache for some of my family members, plus we fired and rehired
a new Cook at work, lots of stress there, but my new Cook is good, this time it's a man.
I've been so busy but I did take time today to make a Freebie..
This is one of my Grandmother's Ice Cream Chairs, when her belongings were given out
to the family these were the only thing that I requested, for memory sake.
As a child when we traveled to visit her, the first thing she and I would do was "visit" there in
her little kitchen while she fed me fresh baked cookies, and in those chairs I sat.
It is a beautiful memory for me ... full of love, those special times between grandmother and
grand-daughter that still to this day, I cherish.
I'm nearly 50 and I have no idea how long she had them before I was born- age, wear and tear
is evident but I "fixed" it up a bit.
I figured while I was at it I'd create from the chair a side table, that is included as well in the zip.
The "extra's" aren't included, flowers, candle, wineglass, I was just pertyin' up my sample.
I'm not all that sure that I like the revamp ... I haven't quite decided, yet...
I threw it together the other night, real life took over just after I posted my last post, whenever that was
so I had no time to play and reconstruct.
Links to my past freebies still need to be placed, etc, etc, and etc.......
Anyhoo...... enjoy the freebie. :)
