PLOT SYNOPSIS "The plot line concerned the efforts of an impoverished young song writer (aren't they all?) to see that justice is done when a crooked music publisher (aren't they all?) steals his song. He is helped by a wealthy young girl and the finale takes place in a courtroom where the composer has gathered together several ethnic groups from across the country who, at a given moment, start singing to the judge in an attempt to prove that the song in question wasn't only written by the composer in question - but was inspired by American folk music." NOTES "Little more than an excuse for a series of musical items mainly featuring Ted Lewis and His Orchestra, Here Comes the Band was a modest effort, skillfully directed by Paul Sloane. . ."
