NOTES
". . .an irresistible weepie that combined a soppy story with dollops of classical music."
- Clive Hirschhorn, The Hollywood Musical
"Dewy-eyed wartime musical, full of popular classics, sentimentality and child interest, all smoothly packaged. As an example of what the public wanted in 1944, quite an eye-opener."
- Leslie Halliwell, Halliwell's Film Guide
