NOTES

"Two lavish production numbers. . .guest-star Lena Horne's singing of "Baby Come Out of the Clouds". . .and a lively routine by Mrs. Glenn Ford (better known as Eleanor Powell, who tapped her way out of retirement for the occasion), were among the musical highlights in The Duchess of Idaho, a Joe Pasternak-produced trifle, dazzingly photographed in Technicolor. . ."
- Clive Hirschhorn, The Hollywood Musical

"Light-weight musical, quite pleasant if routine, with guest stars."
- Leslie Halliwell, Halliwell's Film Guide
