PLOT SYNOPSIS When two army buddies are released from duty after World War II, all Michael Hanlon (Johnson) can think about is returning to his hometown to marry his girl. His best friend Slinky (Wynn) has other plans, though, and when asked to appear on a popular radio show hosted by beautiful Susan Duncan (Pat Kirkwood), Michael is forced to accept the delay. When the microphones are turned on, however, Hanlon suffers a severe case of stage fright and Slinky is forced to assume his identity, which leads to all sorts of misunderstandings, both comic and romantic.
