These are truly professional marionettes, not a toy or souvenir. The bodies are all wooden construction; no cloth or string or eyelet joints are used as in many simpler puppets. The joints are locking joints; just like your ankles, knees, hip, waist, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck and back. They can only move the same way the human body moves. Unlike many, they are properly weighted in the feet, legs, hands, arms and seat which is essential for the puppets proper movement. The faces, are individually hand sculpted and hand painted using a durable composite material and waterproof acrylic paints. A unique innovation allows you to quickly adjust the wrist and fingers of the puppet creating a variety of different gestures. Because of the care taken in their construction, these puppets are far easier to learn to operate. To assist in this, an instuctional video CD is included with each one. If you simply want a display puppet to hang in your home, you can find attractive ones for a lower price.
