Attention all you Howard Stern fans.
you like gross, here it is, so come and get it. This CD has no redeeming
qualities, but they warn you about this on the back cover. If you don't
have a sense of humor, don't bother listening. White Trash Barbecue
should offend everyone, and that is what is great about it. It's kind of
novel, it's heavy and mean but the spirit is in the right place. Good
eating for you sicko pervy types out there. Post-modern Mentors.
"Aquarian's Weekly`"
"It's the perfect soundtrack for gang-banging a weeping
sorority girls on a Saturday night" " get yourself a keg
of brewskies and get ready to rock" " party on dude"
from " Ben is Dead"
Only in America,
folks, can you find a true comedy rock music like this. Even staying
within the strict rock and metal guidelines laid out by other great
and truly daring bands like Scatterbrain, Blotto, Murphys Law and
even Anthrax, this band still manages to be gut-bustingly impressive.
The performances are tight and bright (maybe they'll use that for a song
about having sex with an electrical outlet)and the lyrics are fit for an
Italian wedding at a biker bar. The Bleeding Hemeroids is my pick for
President Clinton's opening act at the Gloria Steinem Girl Scout rally.
Need I say more? If I had to pick a favorite song , I guess it would be
" Keep Your Mouth Shut And Your Legs Open." White Trash Barbe-
que is a keeper, and I'm even going to tell my friends about this one!
"The Music Paper"
"Intentionally low brow party rock"" lyrics that every cheez-metal tune
on the planet wishes they had the balls to say"
"The Glass Eye"
Fresh from the bowels of N.Y.C. come nine brutal punk metal anthems
that will hit a raw nerve in everyone. 100% politically incorrect
"Option Mag."

This record screams out: "We're punk as fuck, and we Don't give a shit".
Tim Yo said one of their songs ("Crimes")sounds like S.F.'s classic punk band,
THE LEWD and I tend to agree with him on that observation. Mean sounding,
Mid-tempo punk shit with a slight 60's influence; lyrics in the vein of the
DWARVES or maybe early GG. I'd probably lock the door to my liquor cabinet if these
guys came to my town. Good stuff, for sure.
"MAXIMUM ROCK-N-ROLL". . . .
VEIN, Drinkin', Druggin' And Drivin' (7"V3): These days
punk is all the rage Vein has a right to claim its punk
classification. Excellent guitar work allows the band to strike
a blow for individuality yet they clearly embrace all the classic
ethos that made the late-'70s revolution so explosive. It's fast
Furious and Fun what more could you ask for?
"The Music Paper Exchange"
Verbalizing lifes frustrations and some sick fantasies with a buzz-punk/metal
attack . "Revenge" starts with a great line "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE"
and kicks into a trash-fuzz rush. "Surreal Killer" offers faux jazzy do-bop.
You got to love the antisocial attitude
"Suburban Voice"
"Lobotomized metal-punk" "Bands like VEIN make "Spinal Tap" all the
. more enjoyable"
"Flipside"
Imagine what you would get if you combine Antiseen with NY
hate-core? These guys play grotty mid- tempo hard-core
punk and sing about bad things. Lot of aggro and general
hostility backed by some really crunchy guitars. They do get
hyper and go berserk on the third song... leave the good
thing for last.- Katz
