A Former AIDS Researcher Has Second Thoughts

Michael Wright's AIDS Dissent Website

Michael Phillip Wright
Norman, Oklahoma USA

My purpose in constructing this website is to share my experience as a federally funded AIDS/HIV researcher with my fellow citizens, the taxpayers who supported me. My general conclusion is that officially-promoted beliefs about AIDS, at best, are the result of very flawed science.

I ask my fellow citizens to join me in requesting that appropriate committees of the U.S. Congress undertake a critical review of the U.S. AIDS program, and that they invite testimony from scientists, writers, and scholars who dissent from the officially-endorsed view.

AIDS Education and Prevention

The AIDS Education and Prevention article reported the findings of a pilot study conducted before my grants were funded. The Phase I SBIR project for HIV risk assessment software incorporated a larger number of research subjects, and its findings were presented in a report included in the expert systems section of the Proceedings of the 7th Oklahoma Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (Oklahoma State University, November 18-19, 1993).

The HIV software project was briefly mentioned in the premier issue of the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association, (1994 Jan-Feb; 1(1): 8-27). The article classified the software as a focused Medical Diagnostic Decision Support (MDDS) system with narrow application domains.
