Those people who like a little bluegrass but crave a bit more variety in their music consumption are strongly encouraged to look into Mr Banjo & the Lonesome Wailers. This quartet of accomplished musicians have effectively distilled a wide variety of music from different disciplines into an acoustic mix that will keep your foot tapping and leave nothing but a good feeling on your way home. They can be found playing around the South San Francisco Bay area at superior establishments such as the Sam's Bar-B-Que in San Jose (or anywhere else that will let them play!)

One of the finest collection of itinerant bluegrass musicians led by the incomparable virtuoso Dave "Mr. Banjo" Guarente and Mike Wilson on Bass, ably assisted by a varied cast of the finest local musicians.
