Howdy folks! I have finally made it on the web site! I am real excited about giving all of you the very best the fellows and I can muster. First, I would like to thank Wailer Dave Woerner for all of his hard work and dedication to the band's web site. Awesome! Next, I wanted to let you all in on the status of Mike Wilson, erstwhile Lonesome Wailer, who is recovering from back surgery, and is also recovering from postponing his wedding and a month long honeymoon to New Zealand, with his wonderful bride to be, the lovely Deirdre, of that aforementioned country! Too Bad! I don't know of any two people less deserving of this than these two beautiful folks! Give them both a big hug when you see them! I always do! Last but certainly not least, our good buddy Greg Burger, who we alI feel closer to by the minute. I just wish we could spend more minutes together! All of us have such busy schedules now, it is amazing we do find the time to spend playing music together. We do it for our love of the art form, the wonderful history and physics of our instruments, and finally, the effects it has on all of you who have enjoyed live music as performance art. Thank to ALL of you for giving us something back too! We love it!
We are going to open for the John Cowen Band, on April 15th at Henflings, in Ben Lomond. We are really excited about that! I will also be in Jake Quesenberry's "History of Bluegrass Music", on the 22nd of April, at the one hundred year old schoolhouse in Morgan Hill, and then, the long anticipated debut at the famous "Sam's BBQ" in San Jose on the 19th! Check out the Web site Link for info and directions! See you next Month!
