Go into all the world and preach the Good News
to everyone, everywhere.
Mark 16:15 NLT*

Mercyseat makes it a point to have
a time of ministry within each concert. Before every concert the band has a time of
prayer. Praying for the Lord to use them to minister to the people in the audience. Josh
reminds the young people that God can use them no matter how old they are. He uses the
verse in I Timothy 4:12 as proof.
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." NIV.
Many of the concerts Josh had the opportunity to
give a challange or alter call. At Mercyseat concerts through the move of God's Holy
Spirit many young people have either committed their lives to God for the first time or
made a renewed commitment to God. All members of the band are involved with the ministry
part of the concert; either by praying while Josh is ministering, sharing something
themselves, or by praying with the young people if they had a need.
Mercyseat is accountable to and discipled by the pastoral staff at
Raleigh Christian Community.
