Math Words Project.

The following project will give you an opportunity to increase your vocabulary in the world of mathematics.

    In order to do well on this project all requirements are to be completed.

Project Requirements:

1.    A math word for each letter of the alphabet
            Each letter must have a "math word".  In order to find these words look in math books, dictionaries, or ask people {parents, students, teachers, etc...}.

2.    A symbol, picture, or example of each word used
            After you have found a word for each letter, write the word with some type of symbol, picture, or example that helps show that you understand that word.

3.      Label your display "Math Words" and make it look good.
            Make your project creative and colorful.  The project may be no larger then 2 ft. X 2 ft. and no smaller than a standard sheet of paper (8 1/2in by 11 in)

4.  General Information:  (70 pts)
The grade will be based on completing all of the requirements, spelling / grammar,   and your display. 

The project is due Tuesday May 7, 2001
