Valentine Puppet
Materials Needed:
• Red construction paper
1. Using red construction paper, cut out two identical hearts 6" or 7" wide.
2. Now, cut out four 1" hearts from red construction paper. (these will serve as the pupet's hands and feet.)
3. To attach the arms and legs to the puppet, cut each of the rubber bands so that they form long elastic strings. Next glue the rubber bands to the sides and bottom of one of the large hearts to form the arms and legs of the puppet.
4. Now glue the tops of the two large hearts together with the ends of the rubber bands between them. Leave the bottom part open to slip your hand in.
5. Glue a small heart to the end of each elastic arm and leg.
6. When the puppet is completely dry have drawing the puppet's face with markers or crayons, and have fun making the puppet swing its arms and legs around!
