MISSION: THUNDERBOLT By Dave Scheifler

Mission Thunderbolt is a futuristic Science Fiction adventure. Aliens have attacked Earth after a great nuclear war between the once great nations. In it, you play the role of a rebel freedom fighter who is attempting to find a working proto-type of an Anti-Matter Bomb. Using this bomb, the rebels plan on striking back against the aliens that have conquered Earth. The plot is much more detailed than that, but that is basically it.

The most ingenious thing about Thunderbolt is the true freedom that your character has. The command list is extremely long and allows for many possibilities. The player is encouraged to experiment and always try new things.

I've heard complaints about the graphics on more than one occasion, but I feel they are adequete for the game. And even if the graphics were ASCII characters, I would still play Thunderbolt just because of the depth and scope of the game. Mr. Scheifler truly did a great job.

Mission: THUNDERBOLT is available for Windows! You should not waste anytime in your haste to purchase this WONDERFUL game! As I have mentioned before, it truly is a unique and wonderful game. It replaced Angband as my replayable game of choice. Go for it. I swear you will not regret it. The cost may seem a little high, but you will replay Thunderbolt so many times, it is definately worth it.
