Dear Birthmother, Our names are Mary & Ken and we thank you for taking the time to read about us. We know you are making a difficult decision and hope that this message can give you a warm, positive feeling about us and convey the love and security we hope to give your child. |

| We met 18 years ago at a beach resort and have been together ever since. We have been happily married for the last 13 years. We have decided that the baby in our future would come through adoption, and we would shower that child with all the love, laughter and joy we have inside. We now live in a beautiful town on Long Island, about 20 minutes from New York City, and about 20 minutes from beautiful Jones Beach. We are lucky to have both great places so close to enjoy. Our house is a large two-family home that we share with Mary's sister and family. They have an 8 year-old girl and a 3 year-old boy. Our large yard has always been kid friendly. There is always room for one more child to run, jump and laugh with them. | ||||||||||||||||

Mary is in her 30's and is working as a Registered Nurse in a large New York Hospital. She takes care of both the elderly and the young. She has great family values and always helps take care of her mother and sister's family. We have 14 nieces and nephews and we are godparents for 6 children, so we know how to share all our love. |

We live in a wonderful neighborhood with many children on our block. We are one block away from our town playground, so we are always able to hear the children having fun. We have a 3 year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever, Sandy, who is a very gentle fun-loving pooch that loves to play with the kids. | |||||||||||||||

Ken is in his 40's and is in the customer-service business as a restaurant manager. He is interested in music, computers, travel and all sports. He is a huge Met fan and often travels to attend home games. He looks forward to the day that we can bring our child to share his love for baseball. |

| We have close friends that have adopted and made their family complete and very happy. We always knew we would be parents and share that unique bond with a child. We are ready for the lifelong commitment of parenthood and to share in its joys. | ||||||||||||||||
