Mediation Services is a non-profit organization which offers free or low-cost services to the community. We receive financial support from individuals, businesses,  and religious groups, and seek grants from various sources including private foundations, the State of Indiana, and the Federal Government. Donations to Mediation Services are tax deductible. If everyone gives a little, it adds up to a lot.

          Volunteers play a very important role at Mediation Services. Most of the mediations are conducted by community volunteers who participate in a 25-hour basic mediation training, followed by shorter specialized training for particular types of cases. Our volunteer mediators get great satisfaction from serving the community, as well as improving their own interpersonal skills.

          Other volunteers contribute by serving on the Board of Directors, raising funds, working in the office, or helping promote the organizations' service.
