SUNDAY DRIVER...Sumter's newest serious talent is made up of six extremely talented members.The band comes from a strong foundation ...influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd ,Smashing Pumpkins and Dave Matthews to name a few.These guys enjoy what they do ....and they do it well.
FARPOINT....another local talent takes the Progressive track...influenced by bands such as Yes and Genesis these musicians are serious about their music.Although public appearences have been few and far between they are currently working on their first studio album which promises to be an interesting journey.
One band which has been quite successful as an independent is Seven Nations...Singer songwriter Kirk McLeod heads up this very talented celtic rock band...and yes he's from Sumter.

Lilfred's....only 15mins out of Sumter (in Rembert SC) and well worth the trip is a jewel of a Restaurant...this is a four star dining experience from the food to the service..Chef is on staff.
