Musik of Note is set up as a computer-based, 32-track digital audio project studio in the heart of Montgomery, Alabama. Established in 2001, Musik of Note specializes in small group projects and small-scale audio productions.
Our specialty is music composition and production, but we can also:
· Arrange music for your needs.
· Provide MIDI tracks as a basis for background music or scratch tracks for recording.
· Create sing-along/play-along "Karaoke-style" background music tracks and CDs for use in worship or for personal use.
· Provide musicians and vocalists for your recording projects.
· Assist as a musical "coach" for students needing some assistance with musical selections in school.
· Provide support to your church's musical activities by assisting parish musicians, music ministers, and liturgists with a variety of music-related needs.
We are able to help lead musical events, such as retreats, concerts, fund-raising events, etc., with your parish music ministers -- please contact us for additional information.
Our studio and production capabilities include:
· 32 tracks of 24-bit digital audio / 256 tracks of MIDI.
· Recording and processing at 44.1 kHz (CD-quality) and 48 kHz.
· Unlimited CD-R and CD-RW storage.
· Transfer of audio to/from ADAT (on the Alesis XT-20).
Equipment:
· Dell 4100 Dimension with 1 GHz Pentium III processor, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB of short-term hard drive project storage space, and integrated CD-RW (using Windows XP Home operating system).
· Software includes Pro Tools LE; Waves audio processing plug-ins; Autotune processing software plug-in; Cakewalk Pro Audio; Finale 2003; Band-in-a-Box; and Jammer Pro.
· Digidesign Digi001 audio interface.
· E-Mu Planet Earth sound module.
· Mark of the Unicorn MIDI Time Piece AV.
· Roland SRV-3030D digital reverb and effects processor.
· Boss VF-1 digital instrument and vocal effects processor.
· Kurzweil Mark 12 digital piano.
· Audio Technica AT3035 and Shure SM-57 microphones powered by a DBX-286A mic pre-amp and processor.
Also at our disposal are a variety of instruments, including acoustic and electric guitars; tenor and soprano saxophones; clarinet; flute; assorted recorders; and assorted pecussion accessories.
