Who the Hell am I? Well, give me a sec to tell you. First, my name is Allan Chen. I'm a student at Stanford University it California - will be a sophomore during the 97-98 academic year. If you really want to know a bit more about me, you can see my atrociously-designed web site.

The more important question is: what am I trying to do with this column?  Not much, I guess. Really, I just want to share some of my thoughts and experiences about learning about the wonderful world of car audio. It's a hobby that I got latched onto about a year ago now and that has not let go of the in the slightest. I don't know much, even after a year of steady reading and learning, but I'm trying.

I've never written a steady column before, but the effort is there, as I hope you can see. I'll be experimenting with the writing style as time passes. If you have suggestions, please e-mail me and let me know. If you like it, love it, hate it, let me know.
