The power starts at a Lightning Audio 170 Amp Alternator and flows through 1/0 guage wire to a Lightning Audio LCB-1200 Gel Battery. From there the power flows through 1/0 guage wire to a 300 Amp fuse and on to the rear of the car to a distribution block. Power is then split up and sent via 8 guage wire to the four Earthquake 40UHC's, Earthquake 400TX and a Rockford Fosgate Symmetry EPX2.
The sub enclosure was originally built in this car by The Sound Garden of DuBois, PA but had to be modified by The Right Sound Car Audio & Security of Punxsutawney, PA to accept the eight Earthquke LS-12's. The enclosure is a 5 cubic foot sealed box that is "W" shaped in order to hold the subs. The hatch of the car contains a capacitor rack that holds eight Lightning Audio 1 Farad caps as well as the Kennwood 10 disc changer. The amp rack finishes out the hatch area and contains four Earthquake 40UHC's that are mounted on an angle and look like they are floating. They run through the sides of the rack and bolted to the outside of it. The 400TX is mounted on the bottom of the rack and is viewed through a cutout. The Rockford Symmetry's control unit is mounted in a custom overhead compartment that replaced the rear view mirror while the "brain" is viewed through a cutout in the amp rack. All cutouts are covered with plexiglass to keep out the dust and are accented with blue neon. The interior is done in light grey carpet (soon to be hot pink).
I compete in the 0-500 watt Pro class and have competed in the following events:
Butler Parts-Aram-A: 2nd Place SPL 2nd Place Installation Elite Sound & Security dB Drag Race 2nd Place
I am planning to install a Hellfire HE-600 alarm to replace my aging Black Widow BW-2500. I will also be adding an Astro-Start remote engine starter and replace my Kenwood Cd Player with an Alpine unit.
The car has blue neon lighting up the interior and a purple undercar neon kit as well as a purple neon license plate holder. I also have an outside "port" to plug in an external radio that is used to compete with.
