This is where we show you our systems, including pictures, diagrams, info, etc.

The 3 subs are wired into a 4 ohm load. The W6 subs are dual voice-coil that are each 6 ohms. The voice-coild are wired in series (creating a 12 ohm load) and then the 3 subs are wired in parallel (which bring it back down to a 4 ohm).

We have a gold-plated brass battery terminal at the battery where the wire goes to the Lightning Audio capacitor, then on to the 4ga. in distribution block which is located on the custom amp rack, then 8 ga. runs out to the to the amps.
Check out the specs. on JL's 12W6's!
First, we built a false-floor by raising the floor about 9 inches. The subs are sunk into the floor facing straight up, going three across in a sealed enclosure. The two amps, capacitor & changer are located at the end of the trunk next to the tailgate under a the end of the floor. Once the hatch is lifted, on two gas-lift pumps, it reveals the custom amp rack with all the components flush in the floor. We put a red stick of neon to accent it all. The false floor is in the Honda factory carpet so it matches perfectly with the trunk and seats. The inside of the amp rack is carpeted in light grey carpet.

Nothing yet, this install is still being built. It is going to be the demo car for my parter and my new car audio shop.
We have installed a Clifford 700-IQ Intella-Guard security system to protect the car. We also added an option to the system to have a Remote Auto Start.
The AudioControl Epicenter, and ESP-2 come with remote knobs for the cosole of the car to adjust the units. I mounted those in a custom enclosure on the right side of the driver's seat, on the center console. I hope to wire them into the dash somewhere, but am having trouble finding a good spot.
I plan on adding the following to the system:
New, higher-ouput alternator (Ohio Generator 220 amp) AudioControl dual 30-band EQ Gold or red under-car NeonI also plan on putting in a motorized rack for the amp rack to raise and lower it.
Coming soon ! We are still finishing up; we have taken many pictures, so check back.
The Orion subs are wired in series because they are Dual voice-coil, then they are wired parelell into a 4 ohm load.
The install is in an International Scout that I recentally aquired. First I have the Premier DEX - P78 which is the flip-face model. Then the Orion 2150 powers the subs, and the Orion 260 powers the highs. The two amps and the crossover are under the hood sunken into comparments on the sides of the engine. This is as far as I have gotten in my install, and now I have the truck all taken apart and I am constantally working to make the truck look as good as possible.
I havent enterd in competition yet, but I may once I am done when I am done with school. Its really just a hobby for me, not a living.
In the future I hope to up-grade many parts of my truck:
Pioneer Premier - The next up-grade that I will probably make is to purchase 4 Premier performence subs. If you havent seen these yet you better get to your local dealer, it will change the way that you think about pioneer, and subs in gennral. X-Tant - I hope to get an X-Tant amp and, from that, amp run the 4 Premier subs. Neon - I plan on buying some neon rods to highlight the install Much more - I, like everyone, am always thinking of new ways to make my system bigger and better!
