AF006

AF006 Knots-Oh-Navajo Afghan & Pillow

The southwest woven look slip stitch pattern used to make this Afghan and matching pillow create a wonderful look and feel--very different and equally attractive on both sides.

AF007

AF007 Quick Knit Catch The Wave Afghan

Whether you prefer the tri-color look shown on the right or the multi-color look shown on the left, you're sure to enjoy making and cuddling up with this Afghan. Both versions are created by double stranding Mohair and wool yarns, working a too-easy-to-be-true "wavy" stitch pattern, and using large enough needles to ensure almost instant gratification.

Designed to work with any double stranded yarn combinations, as described above, yielding 3 sts per inch. Interested in another quick knit home decor project? Check out the Suddenly Sierra Decorator Throw.

AF008

AF008 Earthly Delights "Patchwork"
Afghan & Scarf

While it looks like this Afghan is worked one square at a time, in fact, the four different stitch pattern designstrees, basketweave, butterflies, and thunderbirdsare worked one strip at a time.

Designed to work with any worsted weight yarns yielding 4 1/2 sts per inch. Want to use these motifs for face cloths or placemats? Check out Earthly Delights Face Cloths and Placemats.

AF009

AF009 Blossoms & Bowties Baby Blankets

Here we have two delightful baby blankets designed with the edging "built in." Each blanket is worked in four triangles and then seamed together. Both blankets are quick knits, Blossoms with some interesting lace work, Bowties with some interesting knit/purl stitchwork.

Designed to work with any bulky weight yarn yielding 4 sts per inch. Interested in another baby blanket project? Check out the Logan Square Baby Blanket. Interested in matching baby cardigans? Check out the Blossoms & Bowties Baby Cardigans.

AF011

AF011 Jesse's Afghan

Reminiscent of an Amish quilt, Jesse's Afghan features garter stitch modular knitting (no seaming, just pick up stitches and go!) and attached I-Cord trim. The pattern includes extensive diagrams and instructions for working with worsted or bulky weight yarns. Directions are also given for making a matching pillow and a baby-sized Afghan.

Designed to work with any worsted (4 1/2 sts per inch) or bulky (3 1/2 sts per inch) weight yarns.

AF012

AF012 Very Luminary Afghan,
Baby Blanket & Pillow

The simple slip stitch design used here yields gorgeous results that are so surprising, you may be tempted to make several just to see what happens when working with different yarns (space-dyed, multi-color, odd balls, etc.). If you can't get enough of the stitch pattern--or if you'd prefer a new project that's wearable--check out our Very Luminary Vest.

Designed to work with any worsted weight yarns yielding 4 1/2 sts per inch.

AF013AF013 Block Party Baby Blanket & Toy Block

This seamless, modularly knit Block Party Baby Blanket features garter and seed stitch patterning and is designed to match our Block Party Poncho for babies and kids. Matching toy block is worked in one piece.

Instructions are provided for working with any bulky weight yarns yielding 3 1/2 sts per inch or worsted weight yarns yielding 4 1/2 sts per inch.
