A Fire Dog's Tribute.....

This is a special tribute to the men and women with whom many Dalmatians have had a rich history of living, working, and sharing companionship with for many, many years. We need to salute them, because Fire Fighters give of themselves, often spending days away from their families, and put themselves in harms way to battle that raging, fearful element, "fire."

Through it all, Dalmatians have proudly stood by their side every step of the way. Whether it was running alongside or in front of their carriages, riding with them in engine and trucks, or merely sitting by their feet on a cold winter's night, they've been their partners. Since Dalmatians are a breed that closely bonds with "their" people, this partnership with Fire Fighters has endured. Though the working relationship has changed today, the rich history and bond will always remain.
