MISTER ED THE SURFER!

In one of the very best Mister Ed episides, Ed says he doesn't want to be left at home while Wilbur and Carol are on vacation. He was so determined to go with them to Hawaii that he he'd even swim all the way if he had to!

Wilbur eventually gave in and, after a boat trip to the island, Ed amazes Wilbur and other sunbathers by jumping onto a surfboard!

This classic TV moment - which was highly advanced for its time in the 1960s - proves that the old saying 'the camera never lies' is not always completely true!

Wilbur was astonished at seeing Ed 'hanging ten' out on the waves!
