Hi! This is the homepage of THE JOURNAL OF DESIRE, an occasional journal of erotic writing, criticism, and commentary. Our fifth issue is now out, thanks to Guest Editor Mat Twassel. (Click here to go right to it.) This number is lovely and different, and we hope you enjoy it.
Your comments, thoughts, and submissions for the next number are eagerly sought, as always (although there's currently no Official Schedule for the next number; we await serendipity).
There's a saying "almost anyone can put out one issue of a 'zine; almost no one can put out four." We've passed the magic number, and are quietly proud! Our intent is to provide a small and unassuming forum for the exploration of desire, sexual and otherwise, and its fictional and cultural contexts. Also, we want to publish a bunch of stories about people fucking.
