It's about time! I've been promising to replace this page for a while now but you know how things go... Anyway, what I'm attempting to do is add a bit of cohesion to the whole web site. So, once completed, each page will be devoted to one topic. This page only contains pictures of REAL Herbie cars found on display or in personal collections.

Here it is at last! This is the Herbie that use to reside at Disney Studios in Orlando, Florida. Herbie would charge out smoking his tires, squirt water from his windshield washers, open and close his trunk, and "grab" at you with his antenna! It was a lot of fun to watch and a highlight of the studio's tour! Unfortunately, Herbie was removed a few years back and has never returned. I'm told that the car had a bad electrical fire (Poor Herb!) and was taken out. But where did Herbie go?!?!

The above picture is of the Herbie that hangs in the Planet Hollywood restaurant in Orlando, Florida. This car was used in HERBIE GOES BANANAS and features headlights that turn (look closely). This car also has the high back Herbie seats and the 14 inch, widened wheels. Don't worry, this car isn't going anywhere! It's hanging from the roof in this three story building! Feel free to pay a visit to Herbie the next time you're in Orlando.
By the way, the food is pretty good too!
