Drawing Paper: Every artist has there preference, but for just sketching around you cant beat regular old typing bond.

Comic Paper: When it comes time to ink your page you'll need 2-ply kid finish Bristol board or the more affordable Strathmore Bristol board 300 series (stock #342-14) 14"X17" with Smooth surface. I have to say that when you buy the "Stathmore" Bristol, you cant beat 20 sheets for $12.00!

Pencil: Again every artist has their preference, but I like to use 0.5 mechanical pencil with HB leads.

Ink: KOH-I-NOOR (R) RAPIDOGRAPH (R) Ink pens 0/.35 (Fine), 1/.50 (Medium), and 4/1.20
(Thick).

Your bristol must be cut 11"X17" (Comic book dimensions) with image area of 10"X15" (Optional). This allows for a more professional appearance when reduced.
