King Daniel Versante, recently ascended to the Crown after the assassination of King Justin Clairborne V in April 3002.   A military man born to the position of leader, his actions are swift and decisive in near all matters, preferring to lead by example .  Unmistakable in his red and gold cape, he often engages the cityfolk and visitors alike in conversation when visiting this diplomatic city and reviewing his troops on the frontline.

Sir Bryan Versante, Regent of the District of Winterthorne assumes the responsibilities and duties for the war-torn District.  He has served His Majesty for years loyally, his right hand when he needed something done.  While most of his time is spent on the frontline, he can be seen around Neridia's Gate recruiting interested and able-bodied adventurers for the Fifth Expansion War effort.

Lady Mayor Leilah Clairborne is the recently appointed Crown-appointed official charged with keeping the city of Neridia's Gate in the District of Winterthorne running smoothly.  Long enjoying the life of a debutante, her father's last wishes urged her to assume her place among the ruling nobility of the land and care for the people of Neridia, as her birthright dictates.  Despite the abundance of political tensions and economic pressures she faces daily, Leilah still finds time to enjoy the finer things in life and know exactly when (and where) to find a good time.

Guildmistress Andraya Winterthorne of the Guild of Arcane and Alchemical Studies always has a friendly smile for all, regardless of their station, and seems to always make time to inquire how your work, however mundane, is going.   Serving as the Regent's chief advisor in all matters arcane for years, the Guildmistress is always interested in expanding the already extensive Guild library and, as such, is often found in the Foreign Quarter speaking at length to the many adventurers visiting from far off lands.

Guildmistress Elena Fasier of the Bardic Collegium acts as herald to Grand Duke Daniel Versante, the Regent of the District of Winterthorne.  The Fasier family has served as heralds for generations and have received commendations for their unswerving loyalty to the Crown.   The Guildmistress is always elaborately dressed with a satchel full of music and scrolls of all sorts.   Though she embraces all forms of music, her proper upbringing and extensive education leave her little patience (or respect) for street musicians and actors.

Constable Ronald MacKnee was appointed to his position by Sir Rodrick replacing Michael Fitzhugh who was reassigned back to the Grand Duchy of Clairborne.   Though tensions have increased in recent months, crime has noticeably decrease and the people of Neridia's Gate feel notably safer walking the streets of the city.  Some speculate that the Constable's past connections may have something to do with his recent successes but they remain only speculation.

Guildmaster James Ramafort of the Adventurers' Guild still enjoys the thrill of adventure.  However, as the years begin to take their toll and slow him down, he lives vicariously through the deeds of his Guild members.  He is often found down at the Common Hall, looking for new recruits for a great variety of missions or swapping war stories over a tall glass of ale.

High Guildmaster Milo Hawkins of the Merchants' Guild is well known for his business acumen.  Working his way up through the ranks, he learned early on the value of networking and the later payoff.  His web of contacts is said to be more extensive than that of the Crown Dagger and he is the one to go to if ever you are in need of anything or simply want an insight into the volatile stock market.

Assistant Guildmistress of the Adventurers' Guild, Squire Seraphina Versante has been appointed by His Majesty to help Guildmaster Ramafort recruit interested adventurers' to help with the war effort.  Dedicated to the Code and all that it embodies, she brings the same enthusiasm to her limited time for rest and relaxation as she does when fighting enemies of the Realm and protecting Neridia against threats.   The Squire is often found around the Foreign Quarter speaking at length with visitors and citizens alike, very interested in learning about their culture, military, and other pursuits.

Ambassador Eryn Mallory of the Kingdom of Evendarr is a new appointment, with Evendarr and Neridia having just reestablished diplomatic relations.  No one is really sure what to make of her yet.   Quiet and determined, she is rumored to place loyalty to her king, country, and purpose above all else.

Ambassador Kabuta Kyotoka of Draelonde has been assigned to Neridia for over 300 years.  He is said to be very cosmopolitan and liberal for a dark elf.  His diplomatic efforts go so far as to refuse to speak his native tongue outside of Draelonde.  Through his efforts, a dark elven settlement was established near Deep Incanus approximately 100 years ago.

Aran Xylon Tarmanoré of the Kingdom of Echor Goroth, in exile.  Until 125 years ago when the Varykites destroyed Taurenalla, this elf ruled the elven nation of Echor Goroth.  He was forced to flee with the survivors of the massacre to Neridia.  The Aran in exile now resides in Neridia's Gate where he still plans to regain the devastated lands he once ruled and rebuild.

Ambassador S'hirsilith Ch'ial of the Kingdom of Quentari.  She has served as ambassador for 70 years, during which time she has negotiated many trade agreements and given much aid to the refugees of the Varykite war.  Though few would call her a friendly woman, most would agree that her heart is where it should be.

Ambassador Amber Arija of Myrr first arrived in Neridia approximately 20 years ago, serving first as Ambassador Birjand's deputy ambassador.  Upon her permanent death, Amber assumed the commission and has continued to promote Myrr's interests in Neridia for the last decade.    An enthusiastic hunter, she often takes time out of her busy schedule to hunt in the caves and keep her keen warrior skills sharpened.

Ambassador Rayne of the Principality of Tarrin has only served in this capacity for 6 months.   Though new to his job, relations are simple between the two neighboring nations.  He never misses a celebration and is considered by many to be the life of the party.

Colwin Ironshoe, the boisterous speaker for the dwarves of Deep Incanus with Neridia, comes from a rather prestigious dwarven line of armor- and weaponsmiths.  A master trader, he can often be found trading stories of great adventurers both above and below ground with other adventurers.

Ex-Ambassador Raidin, the now exiled Varykite ambassador to Neridia, is rumored to be a close friend and long time confidante of Varyk the Undying.   Declared outlaw, he is wanted for the assassination of the revered King Justin Clairborne V who had held the position for the past 14 years despite several questionable acts of espionage where nothing could be proved.  He and the now deceased Roderick Clairborne had a long standing hatred of each other, the origin of which is not known.  Any sightings of him should be reported immediately to the noble in charge or the local constabulary.
