New England Sea Kayaker

American Canoe Association has a web page
with a schedule of ACA events, their courses, membership info, articles on-line, pictures,
and more. Great site.
Adventure Learning Center
offers instruction for adults, summer adventure camps for students of ages 10-16, and
ropes course team-building for schools, businesses, and social organizations.
South Bay Campground in Lubec, Maine,
just put up their website. I was told that they have a couple of sites on a small
island, and that it would be an ideal base-camp for kayaking.

"Wind, Water, Sun: A Solo Kayak Journey Along Baja California's Desert
Coastline," by Ed Darack, is an outstanding new book. This book is gripping; I
couldn't put it down. The writing is superb and the photographs within are
absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it--not just to kayakers.
