Success requires vision to see, faith to believe, and courage to do.

What You Can Do
  • Start a letter writing campaign.

Unless this problem is brought to the attention of the news media and the public, it will continue to destroy families and unsuspecting families will be putting themselves at risk. Foster and adoptive parents need to be able to make an educated decision about which children they accept into their homes. The following link will help you find the email addresses of media sources in your area.

Write to your legislators. Our representatives are more willing to listen to their constituents when writing about a problem or concern. Use the following link to find the legislators for your state.

  • Submit your story on the Internet.

It is through the Internet that we have a voice. This is your time to speak out and tell your story. If you have HTML experience, make your own webpage and link it to others pertaining to false allegations. If you don't have HTML experience, you may write your story in an email and send it to fpallegations@aol.com to be submitted on the "False Allegations...the Dark Side of Foster Care" website.

  • Seek out others who have been victims.

If you have been a victim of foster/adoptive parent false allegations, you know the devastation that occurs to your family unit. Offer comfort and support to others who are suffering. Find the names of other victims through your local Foster Parent Association who may be willing to come forward and join the coalition. There is safety in numbers and we need others who are willing to stop the unfair treatment of foster/adoptive parents.
