Hi and welcome to my cyber world.  I hope you enjoy your stay. Before you leave here, be sure to visit my new tribute pages to my mom, Cathy.  She's a very special person and I want to share that with all of you.

My name is Darla and I'm one of the special Yorkies on the internet  that has her own website. That's because my Mom has spoiled me rotten and she knows nothing is too good for me.   She's the bestest Mom anyone could ever have and I'm really lucky to have her.  If any of you Yorkies out there don't have a mom, call her!!!  Oh, and now I have my own award to give to deserving pet sites.  Go to my award page and see if you would like to apply for one.  Oh...be sure to check out my other pages.

Now that you're here, let me tell you a little bit about me:

I was born May 2, 1997 in Athens, Alabama where my mom found me and brought me home to South Carolina.  I was a Fourth of July present to my mom from herself. (I got the best end of that deal).  It was love at first sight.  I was smaller than my brothers and sisters and kinda sleepy when she first saw me but it was e'nuff.

This is me.  Born to ride  (If I had a tattoo, that's what it would say).

I have a brother (Justin), a sister (Tracy).  Justin is the only one who still lives at home with me.  Tracy growed up and flew the nest.  She now lives with her husband, Shane, and a house full of critters.  I also have a friend (Les) who occasionally gives me a couple of scraps from the dinner table.  Sometimes he brings me dessert when he and my Mom go out to eat.  I also have cousins, Kati, Bryan, Sera and Alexis.  Alexis is really pretty, like me, and belongs to my uncle Steve and aunt Melissa.  Katie and Sera are pretty like me and Alexis only they are older and bigger.  Katie now has a handsome son named Trenton and he likes to get into things.  I also have Grandma Peggy who spends her time working in her flower garden and feeding the birds.  I could go on and on, but I don't want to bore you.

My roommate is an obnoxious, food-stealing, attention-stealing, furball named Jerry.  I think he is called a cat but I'm not real sure. I try to whup-up on him but my Mom always interferes.  I don't think she wants me to hurt him too bad 'cause he's been around for years and years...and years....and years....and years..................and then some.  He's bigger than me but I'm sure I can whup-up on him. See, I weight five...er, six  pounds now and have some dormant Rottweiler genes that kick in when I get mad.  He doesn't stand a chance.
