I have written over forty-five books for young people - nine novels and over thirty-one non-fiction books. My first book Does Your Nose Get in The Way, Too? won the Romance Writer’s of America award for best young adult novel of the year. The autobiographically based novel is about a teenage girl who feels that a nose job will change her love life. The book was the lead book for Harlequin Silhouettes Crosswinds line, one of the first series of romances for young adult readers. The book was loosely based on growing up in Shaker Heights and spearheaded my career.  A spin off book Drop Out Blues was a semifinalist the following year.

Soda Pop book was the official book that Pepsi sent to its customers, inquiring about their product. Peanut Butter is on CD ROM. My Best Friends Book was reviewed as the ultimate How to book on friendship. In addition to being a writer of juvenile literature, I was the teen advice columnist and pet columnist for CompuServe's WOW! Real Kids Taking The Right Risks, a book on positive risk taking for young adults recently recommended by The Parent Council. Happy Birthday, Everywhere! was book of the week on Bozo's Circus.

Valentines Day Crafts should be a big hit when one is looking for unique Valentine's Day crafts to do. It makes an ideal Valentine's Day gift.

My book Merry Christmas, Everywhere! is co-authored by my husband Herb and has information on international customs.

In the year 2004-2005, the titles due to go on store shelves are Thanksgiving Crafts, Mother's Day Crafts.

Happy Birthday, Everywhere!, one of my books on how children celebrate holidays was a book of the week on Bozo’s Circus.  Merry Christmas, Everywhere! and Happy New Year, Everywhere! were well reviewed and have been widely used in elementary schools.  A companion book, Sidewalk Games Around the World has been featured in The Girl Scouts of America catalog for many years.  Happy Birthday, Everywhere! and Sidewalk Games Around the World were voted as best of the best in juvenile nonfiction by the Chicago Public Library, one of the largest library systems in the country.

The Kids' Business Book, The Kids' Invention Book and The Kids' Volunteering Book were reviewed as notable trade books in Social Studies.  The Kids' Invention Book is a selection in the Harcourt Brace Collections basal reader for the fourth  grade. Oddly enough, the school where I teach uses the series.

Teddy Bears was made into a children’s musical and performed for two weeks at our local high school for schools and the general public.  I was most proud that my son played the lead of Teddy Bear.

One of my most recent books, The Middle School Survival Guide (How to survive from the day elementary school ends until the second high school begins) sold out in four months. From the publisher...I have good news for you: THE MIDDLE SCHOOL SURVIVAL GUIDE was named a 2004 New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age. The list of books is sold to school and public libraries in all 50 U.S. states, as well as internationally.

My latest book, Valentine’s Day Crafts co-authored by my husband was released this February. Companion books, Thanksgiving Crafts, and Mother’s Day Crafts will be released soon.
