WHAT'S NEW

I think any writer or actor will tell you that you put a little of yourself into each of your characters. 

There's part of me in Quick's need to help others, in X's confusion about where he came from and where he's headed, in Zac's ability to always know what right for other people and in Taylor's compassion and need to be loved.

The Jaxsper character, obviously, is me.   Even though deep down, he knows exactly what he wants, sometimes it takes a two-by-four along the head to get him to admit it to himself.  Jax will put the happiness and safety of others above his own.  He's done so since the beginning of the story, as I have all my life. 

I guess you could say that Garon, the psycho Hanson Fanatic, is part of me too. 

Some time ago I was threatened and 'outed' because of my stories, and my family and friends were told that what I was writing was sick and perverted.  To me, my stories are love stories.  I believe with all my heart that what I write helps people by showing them that loving someone - anyone - cannot be wrong.

Just like my 'Jaxsper' character, I worried what people would think about me, and just like my 'Jaxsper' character I worried that the people around me would be hurt by my actions.  I stopped writing for awhile because of this.  But, the people who know me and care about me stood by me.  Just like my 'Jaxsper' character, I thought the worst but got through it with the help of the people around me.

I think that Garon, the psycho fan, symbolizes what some people believed me to be.  A sick person who creates a perverted art in a misguided attempt to get Hanson's attention.

But, is 'Garon' really me?  Is what I do truly hurtful to anyone?  That is up to the reader to decide.

My story is finished.  I've posted the final chapters of Hanson Fanatic.  Will Garon's sick view of the world defeat Jaxsper?  Will Jaxsper make the ultimate sacrifice to prove that true love conquers all?  Taylor's fate hangs in the balance.  You will just have to read on.
