EDITORIAL EDITORIAL 1: A life of communion with God is what brings the real peace, happiness,strength, health and security to a person. One can live with God only through Lord Jesus Christ.Except through Jesus, there is no other way whereby man can reach the Supreme God or establish communication with Him. It is the Bible that shows the way by which a man can communicate with God through Jesus Christ. This magazine will help all the people and the children of God to show the biblical way clearly and easily. When the path of God seems to be shown in a confused light these days, with a host of mixed religions and assemblies obscuring the straight path, New Jerusalem News will be a great boon. We need your prayers and support in this divine literature ministry. Dedicating this as an offering at the feet of Christ for the fulfillment of God's will, we start this magazine. Please do read this magazine, give others and introduce to your near and dear ones. EDITORIAL 2: "My sheep will listen to my voice" Our Lord Jesus Christ called His believers, His children as His sheep. There are sheep and goats. But they who belong to Jesus are good sheep. 'My sheep will listen to my voice and my doctrines', Jesus said. The sheep know the voice of the shepherd. The sheep see the shepherd going ahead of them, and hearing his voice and call follow him. They eat the good food offered by him, drink from the still waters and become fat and strong. But he who is not the shepherd but the hireling, runs away abandoning the sheep when he sees wolf coming to devour the sheep. He runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care for the sheep. Lord Jesus Christ said 'My sheep will listen to my voice'. Yes, only the true children of God will listen to His words. Others will heed to human opinions and perish. But the good sheep of Jesus will never perish because they hear the voice of the Lord , do and live according to His words; And because they do ministry according to His doctrines, they become perfect with the church as a single body, prepare themselves for His coming and will be raptured. 'My sheep will listen to my voice, said Jesus' (John 10:16). EDITORIAL 3: Praise the Lord! Man was created to reveal God and glorify Him (Isa. 43:7). Each creature has been created with a specific purpose. In the same way, man has been created to praise and glorify God. Darkness will pervade in his heart if he fails to praise God and he will spoil himself by impure thoughts, unnatural sexual relationships and lusts. "Although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise they became fools" (Rom.1:21,22) and fell in shameful lusts (Rom. 1:24-27). This is the state of this world and that of the so called Christians who are without fellowship with God. Especially this is the state of the backsliders (2 Pet. 2:20-22). Always praise the Lord in your hearts and sing with grace in your hearts (Col. 3:16; Eph. 5:19; James 5:13) and sanctify the Lord God in your hearts (I Pet. 3:15). If you guard your heart in this manner, out of it will spring the issues of life (Prov. 4:23). EDITORIAL 4 Man should find God. He should come to Jesus. Jesus calls him. He will not have true peace and happiness until he comes to God; What little good life that he has at present also will pass off from him. Man should leave ungodly life, a life of his own liking. He should come to God. He should live in fellowship with God. He should do the will of God. That is the life made out for man. That alone will bring him real peace and form a solution for all his problems. God is the life-force of man. Abandoning this life-force is the root cause of all his mental disturbances, confusions and hopelessness. You should look for God. Search and diligently inquire of Him (Zep. 1:6). If you search for Him with your whole heart, you will find Him (Jer. 29:13,14). You will find peace. Blessed is the man who finds God. Farewell. Editorial 5 Godliness is becoming rarer these days. By fear of the Lord man departs from evil (Prov.16:6). The fear of the Lord should be taught to man. Man is not born learned in all respects. It is only after he is born that he learns. In the same way, we must exercise ourselves in godliness in order to become holy (I Tim.4:7,8). Human effort is of little use. However godliness is enough for this life and for that which is to come. If we consider the hours spent each day for the sake of becoming holy, we can understand why we have not yet become holy. We give tithes and offerings out of our sense of gratitude. And there are many reasons, benefits and blessings for that. Additionally, we give tithes, to learn the fear of God. "You shall tithe all the increase of your grain that the field produces year by year .... the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil of the firstlings of your herds and your flocks that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always" (Deut. 14;22,23). When we give correctly and regularly, we learn the fear of God and we continue to grow. Isn't the fear of the Lord, the beginning of wisdom? (Prov.9:10). Members of the true church of God will be edified (Eph. 4:11-13). Therefore search and identify the true church. Be godly and God will bless you! EDITORIAL 6 Children of God should worship God. Man has been created and shaped only to worship and glorify God (Isa.43:7). Whether a person is cultured or a savage living in a forest, that person possesses a natural instinct to worship God. He worships either a dead man or stone or soul or tree or beast or bird or natural scenes as God and bows his knee before them. Yes, he worships God or someone other than God or something which he likes. We Christians should bow before God and worship Him. God saves or liberates a person only to worship Him (Ex. 8:1). Some people don't worship God and therefore they don't receive the blessings of God. Such people are trapped in various kinds of sins and vile passions. You should worship God, else you may worship false gods which will not save you. They will not save you from sin, curse, danger, disease, wicked people or hell (1Sam.12:21,22). If you worship God, He will be glorified and you will be made perfect. He who worships the Creator will become like Him. His needs will be fulfilled. He will have peace.
